While walking around Ghost House Lane,

I can’t see a thing.

The night was as dark as a bat’s wing.

I could hear the demons sing.

The wing whispered on the dreary dismal night.

While the monster sang,

I heard a bang,

From Grandma Esther’s cat.

The black cats eyes were fireflies at night.

The not so bright night gave me the shivers.

The cat surrounding the pumpkin,

At the rapid pace of a race,

Glared at me,

By my house,

As I ran away.
